NTEX is a Northern Territory locally owned and operated civil contracting company that provides groundwork and site development services, demolition, and transportation of aggregate and other goods. 

NTEX specialises in bulk excavation, detailed excavation, rock extraction, site clean-ups, demolition, civil construction, service trenches and pipe laying. Incorporated in this is a swamp reclamation service with extensive experience in operating in waterlogged and flooded conditions. 

NTEX has built an excellent reputation for its efficiency, timeliness and quality work that has led to many repeat tender and project opportunities with existing clients.

Established in 2010, NTEX has grown into a leading provider of environmental rehabilitation, remediation, and resource recovery solutions in the Northern Territory.

The company specialises in demolition services, hazardous waste management, industrial decommissioning, and the recycling of construction and maritime waste.

With a strong track record in complex infrastructure projects, contaminated site remediation, and emergency waste response, NTEX has built a reputation for operational excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility.

NTEX are pioneers in the circular economy and the go-to for best practice project planning and execution. NTEX Code Red is NTEX’s resource recovery and recycling arm with a dedicated facility for concrete, rubber and tyre recycling and marine resource recovery located in East Arm.

To date NTEX has recovered and recycled over 166,385 tonnes of industry waste including processing over 126,000 tonnes of concrete and asphalt material, achieving an average of over 83% resource recovery rate overall on demolition projects.

Environment Protection Licence EPL324-01:

  • Collection and transport of listed wastes including contaminated construction waste, asbestos, contaminated soil, grease trap and sewage, surfactants containing metal and inorganic material, tyres and other waste.
  • Temporary storage of soils contaminated with a listed waste
  • Operating a premises for storage, treatment and recycling of tyres.
